It exists because European clients — particularly in financial services, pharmaceuticals and industrial engineering — need a partner inside their own regulatory and time-zone perimeter, working in German and English, who can answer where the data lives without checking.

Working in the Swiss and EU market
Swiss engagements tend to lead with governance. The revised Federal Act on Data Protection, and the GDPR for anything touching the EU, mean the first architectural conversation is usually about where personal data is processed, who can reach it and how that is evidenced — not about the feature set. We design for that from the first diagram, because retrofitting a data boundary is one of the most expensive changes there is.
The same applies to AI. Any system that touches personal data or automated decision-making needs its data flows, retention and human-oversight points documented before it is built, and needs the logging in place to show what it did after the fact. That work is unglamorous and it is the difference between a pilot that reaches production and one that stalls in review.
Canton Zug is a practical base for this: a dense concentration of financial, commodity and technology companies, straightforward access to Zurich, and a business environment where a small, senior team can operate without the overhead a larger centre imposes.

01 Can our data stay in Switzerland or the EU?
Yes. AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud all operate Swiss regions, alongside several EU regions, and we design the architecture so that personal data is processed and stored inside the boundary you require. The design is documented — which services run where, what crosses the boundary and why — because that documentation is what your compliance function will ask for.
02 Do you work in German?
Yes. Requirements, workshops, specifications and documentation are produced in German or English as the engagement requires, and this site is published in German for the same reason. Standard German is used for written material; conversation adapts to whoever is in the room.
03 Are you familiar with revFADP and GDPR requirements?
We build to them as engineering constraints — data minimisation, documented processing locations, retention that is enforced rather than promised, access logging and deletion paths that actually work. We are engineers, not legal counsel: we build what your legal advisers specify, and we tell them early when an architecture will make a requirement expensive.
